In two different ceremonies held in Karachi in which Vice Admiral Zahid Ilyas took over as Commander Coast (COMCOAST) and Vice Admiral Faisal Rasul Lodhi assumed the responsibilities as Commander Karachi (COMKAR). Now Vice Admiral Faisal Rasul Lodhi is the Commander of all Pakistan Navy establishments and training units and Vice Admiral Zahid Ilyas is now the Commander of SSG Navy Pak Marines and all Pakistan Navy units along the Coast and Creeks areas.
