ISLAMABAD: Terrible Air force accident in Islamabad during 23rd March Parade rehearsal (2020), Pakistan Air Force, Wing Commander Nouman Akram embraced Shahadat. Noman Akram was martyred when his F-16 fighter jet crashed in Islamabad near Shakarparian on March 11, 2020 (Wednesday) morning during 23rd March Parade rehearsal. The plane was crashed near the chand-tara jungle located in Islamabad Near Rose Garden Park. The air force said, the plane was carrying out routine exercises for the March 23 parade when it crashed, local Police and rescue officials have cordoned off the crash site. A board of inquiry has been ordered by Air Headquarters to determine the cause of accident, the PAF said.
