Faisal Mosque (فیصل مسجد):
Introduction:
Faisal Mosque has the honor of being the great Mosque of Pakistan as well as the great mosque of South Asia. This Mosque has a reputation in all Muslim Ummah because of its unique architecture. This Mosque offers a beautiful view at the foot of the charming mountains of Margalla. Construction of this Mosque began in 1976 and was completed in 1986. The design of this mosque is tent-shaped and has four Minars whose height is ninety meters. Saudi Arabia’s ruler Shah Faisal bin Abdul Aziz provided a large sum for the construction of this mosque and the mosque was also named after Saudi ruler Shah Faisal.

Pakistan Monument is a symbol of progress and the Unity of Nation. Construction of the monument began in 2004 and was completed in 2007. Visitors are amazed at the magnificent structure of the monument. This monument reflects the culture and civilization of Pakistan as well as reflects or refreshes the movement of Pakistan. The shape of the monument is like a four-leaf flower that depicts Pakistan’s four provinces – Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Baluchistan. While the three smaller petals represent three different territories of Pakistan i.e. Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir & FATA. This monument further enhances the beauty of Islamabad city. Pakistan Monument has built a museum for tourist information to remember the memories and sacrifices of Pakistan. The museum also features sculptures of the founding leader of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, which presents a very fascinating scene.
